Online Hypnotherapy FAQs

Initial consultations last 20 minutes and do not require you to submit any payment details.

Every session is different and structured based on the client and their needs. But in general, some good things to know are that you will remain awake and totally in control at all times. 
Typically, I will start by establishing your specific goal and challenge in-depth and understand why you wanted to seek online hypnotherapy services.
You will have filled in a questionnaire before our first session, and we will go through this together so I can fully understand what you want to get out of our sessions. 
Then I will use the information you have given to establish which techniques to use to help you achieve your goal fast and efficiently. And this is when the hypnosis, NLP and/or Havening ™ will start. 

My price per 90 minute session is £255 incl. VAT which includes a 10% discount that I am offering due to the cost of living crisis.

Hypnosis and NLP work to deliver fast and effective results. Hypnosis works by allowing you to enter a deep state of relaxation. Once in this state, you can let go of old negative behaviours and thoughts and then positive thoughts and suggestions can be made to your unconscious to help facilitate your change in perspective, habits, and behaviours.*

Hypnotherapy is extremely safe (when conducted by a trained professional). The majority of clients find it to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. 

 Generally, when you are hypnotised, you remember everything that happens during your time in the hypnotised state. My hypnotherapy style is very active and involves a lot of conversation and you will remember everything from our sessions together. 

 

Before your first session I will send you a Pre-session Questionnaire, that will take around 1 hour to complete. You can fill this out on your laptop or computer and send it back to me so that I have time to review it before our first appointment.

Every person is different and your ability to be hypnotized may differ from someone else’s. However, the people most likely to benefit from it are those who are highly motivated to overcome an issue.*

Hypnotherapy reaches directly into the mind. In contrast, CBT is a technique that focuses on training the mind to react differently to stimuli such as fear or symptoms of a disorder. 

Hypnotherapy aims to create lasting change by working with the unconscious mind. The results you see may differ from those of other clients, however, the majority of people experience long-term benefits from their hypnotherapy sessions. 
Not only do my sessions aim to help you overcome your challenges but they will also equip you with tools and techniques to maintain positive changes.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is commonly used in conjunction with hypnotherapy and I often use it in my practice to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. NLP techniques focus on reprogramming the mind’s patterns, beliefs, and behaviours to achieve positive outcomes. By combining NLP with hypnotherapy, faster and more effective results can be attained.

Not only do my sessions aim to help you overcome your challenges but they will also equip you with tools and techniques to maintain positive changes.

The number of sessions required will depend on your challenge. In general, phobias and fears, lack of confidence, PTSD and panic attacks can be completed in two sessions. For anxiety and insomnia, I usually can advise after the consultation call if it will be a two or five-session process. And stop smoking and weight loss always take five sessions.*

Hypnotic trances come in two levels; deep and light. In my sessions, I use light trances. You will still feel in control, and remember everything that happens in the trace. You can imagine falling into a light trance similar to the moments before you drift off to sleep or when you feel very relaxed.
